Found out the correct spelling is San Njie

San is 3 and is the same character as in San Ti

1 set chin-ups x5
3 sets of push-ups x10
2 sets of floor presses x10 16k
1 set of alternating floor presses 2x10 16k
1 set of pull-over presses x25 16k

Review material
3 3min. rounds of sparring

I know could have and should have used a 20k, but I was lazy and used the bells Patrick already had out. The pull-ups and pull-over presses burned pretty good though.

I didn't use the chair tonight while doing the bottoms up presses. BIG difference in difficulty. Without the back of the chair, I realized I have been cheating and bracing my back. Using the stool really forced me to focus on maintaining tension.

Lay offs suck. My reps are way down. I'll be working to fix that in the days ahead. The bag work felt good today. I still have trouble driving with my hips. It's hard not to drop back into the habit of throwing arm punches. Jammin' on the IPod while thumping on the bag was fun too.  Afro

Took a two minute break between each exercise. I was jammin' to Tool on that last set of floor presses.  Grin

various types of sparring for 45 min.

I am very disappointed in my sparring. I displayed a total lack of control by blacking Justin's eye. Little Dave stayed out of my range and tagged me several times. Nick just landed death from above when ever he wanted. I had fun, but I have lots to work on. I was planning on doing more pull-ups and push-ups, but started talking and ran out of time.

I did crunches and push ups before class, then more crunches and push ups during conditioning. I still wish I could do 10 counts right. I haven't done that many push ups in a long time.

decending ladder push ups from 10
triangle push ups 2x10
wide push ups 1x10
2 min. drill
50 sit ups
30 alternating crunches
30 reg. crunches
30 leg thrusts
30 leg extensions
2 min. drill

I felt good tonight. I got through all the push ups without going to my knees. I was also able to do most of the exercises in the 2 min. drill with no adaptation. I'm still uncoordinated enough that I can't do a jumping jack though. My legs are stronger and more mobile. KBs rock. Thanks Dave.
