December 14, 2009...

Shaolin Do...

Before Class...Tai Chi Iron Fan (twice), Table Top Sword, Seven Star Sword, Tai Chi Sword, Pa Kua, Tiger-Crane Duet and Sai.

During Class...Did White through 1st Brown Belt material (except Kwan Dao), sparred three rounds and taught the 3rd Brown Belt class.

Shaolin Do...

Before Class...

Did Tai Chi Iron Fan, Tai Chi Sword, Table Top Sword, Seven Star Sword, Pa Kua, 24 Posture Tai Chi and what I know of the 3rd Hua and Tai Chi Broadsword.

During Class...

Did Black Tigers, Spears, Pa Kua, Table Top Sword, Seven Star Sword, Hsing-I Fist of Five Roads, Hsing-I Five Roads Linkage Form, Hsing-I 12 Animals, Parts A and B of the Hsing-I Two Man Set, the Hsing-I Two Man Set w/ Buddy, then w/Danny, Buddha Fist, Tiger-Crane Duet, worked with John S. on the Hsing-I Two Man Set some and finished learning the 3rd Hua (a really big chunk).  Worked on the 3rd Hua quite a bit after class as well..probably half a dozen times.

Came home and started prepping the ham for tomorrow's CHRISTmas party after the test....I'm beat!

December 16, 2009...

Shaolin Do...

Test Night and annual Christmas Dinner....Did manage to do Tai Chi, Seven Star and Table Top Sword Forms.  Also Pa Kua, Iron Fan, Tiger-Crane Duet, 3rd Book of the Hua Fist and what I have so far of the Tai Chi Broadsword Form.

Great Dinner...Lots of good food and friendly smiling faces!!!   Cheesy

Tai Chi Night...

Did 24 Posture Tai Chi (twice), Tai Chi Sword (twice), Tai Chi Iron Fan, worked with Peter Moscow on Tai Chi Iron Fan and spent the rest of the evening going back over what we have learned of the Tai Chi Broadsword form.

December 21, 2009...(Short Day!)

Shaolin Do...

Before Class...

Did Tai Chi Iron Fan, Tai Chi Sword, Table Top Sword, Seven Star Sword, the 3rd Hua and what I know of the Tai Chi Broadsword.

During Class...

Taught the classes...Sr Master John and family was attending service for a in-law's family member passing. (hope I said that right)

At 6pm, did White through Green Belt material.  Hank helped out.  He took Micheal (our Yellow Belt class) and I took our new 3rd Brown Belt class..no others came.

At 7pm, did White through Green Belt material and sparred two long rounds.  Paul and Hank helped teach/review material with the various ranks..Somewhere in all this, I believe Nick and Theresa jumped in and did some assisting too.  We actually had a better turnout tonight, with only a couple Brown Belts missing. 

Was a pretty good evening.

At 7pm, did White through 2nd Brown Belt material, sparred two rounds and taught what we had of the 3rd Brown Belt class.

Wish everyone would quit using the holidays as an excuse for not coming to class!!!!
(Oh CRAP!  I'm starting to sound like Dave!!!  Grin)
