Thurs 5/20/10

Well.. it finally happened.  On Wednesday nights I always prepare my gym bag with a gi bottom and t-shirt for Tai-Chi. I got to Tai-Chi opened the bag and my gi bottom had mysteriously transformed into a gi top!   Shocked

I had no choice but to do Tai-Chi bottomless.  Thankfully, I didn't get any complaints.   Grin

Tues 6/22/10

Shaolin-Do

All retrained on Night Battle Broadsword and Interconnecting Fist.  I will need to practice the changes (corrections).

Master John talked about the state of the school and policies re: salesmanship and recruitment.

Also briefly discussed Saturday classes pointing out that they will be available to blue belt and up, and at Master Dave's direction.  Good positive reinforcement.

90 reps w/40#
Increased from 30 to 40 reps on post.

Tues 7/20/10

Actually felt rejuvenated after 2 weeks in Italia.  No excercise other than walking around Jesolo Lido, hiking in the Dolomite Mountains and swimming in the Adriatic Sea.

Shaolin-Do

Energy level higher than usual.

75 reps w/40# (after layoff.  any more would have been too much)
40 reps on post (down from 50)
Should quickly return to normal reps.

Mon 11/15/10

Hams are burning from squats Saturday.

Been about 2 months since rolling the bar.  Left shin not completely cleared up yet.  Maybe getting close though.
